What is a code of practice?
A code of practice provides details on how to achieve the standards required under the work health and safety (WHS) legislation.
What are Standards?
Standards are published documents that set out specifications and procedures designed to ensure products, services and systems are safe, reliable and consistently perform the way they are intended to.
Who made the safety guidelines?
Safety Guidelines for the Entertainment Industry was developed by the Australian Entertainment Industry Association (AEIA) and the Media Entertainment and Arts Alliance (MEAA).
High risk practices require licences, provide some examples:
Asbestos licences
White Card (CIC)
High Risk work licences
Demolition licences
Explosives and fireworks licences
Pest management
