A
Where millions of Jews were transported to be shot, gassed or work slave labour.

A
Meaning night of broken glass. Was a night where violent mobs attacked Jewish homes, businesses and synagogues.

Old slum areas designated for Jews only. Many thousands died in ghettos from malnutrition and disease.
