A
  1. Researcher collects data using semi-structured individual/ focus group interview transcripts/ observations

Q

Weaknesses of TA

A
  • Credibility: subjective interpretation as based on researcher interpretation therefore difficult establish C+E as data not objective and researcher bias could be present
  • Low reliability: methodology repeated easy but unlikely will come to same themes and sub themes as interpretations are subjective and unique to individuals
