  • EEG power estimated by decomposition of EEG trace into components
  • To isolate specific activity ( specific to action imagination) compare spectral power before/after action imagination

What is the purpose of beginning with a fixation point in an experiment?

A

Allows experimenters to get a base line of extraneous brain activity. When the second fixation point comes by, experimenters are able to see the difference between the first point and the second point (which includes the brain activity associated with the activity)
