Partner positive for STI

Presentation
Male symptoms as well
Examination
A
Dysuria, dyspareunia, discharge, pain, smelly odour
Post coital bleeding.
Men - Dysuria, pain, discharge, epididymitis, orchitis.
Cervical bleeding, pelvic tenderness, discharge.

Investigations
A
If severe, pelvic USS for things.
Vulvo-vaginal swab, NAAT for chlamydia, HIV, syphilis and gonorrhoea.
First catch urine sample.
Urine dip.
For men, first catch or external meatal swab.

Management
A
Azithromycin, 1g single dose.
Doxycycline 100mg tds 7 days.
If contraindicated, erythromycin.
