What is the function of the Radio Select/Emergency Audio Panel?

A

The RS/EAP is a secondary interface for the CCU, allowing flight deck to swap CCU into backup mode in case of Primary or Secondary failure. It also provides selections to connect VHF Data Link voice channels (VDL), SATCOM (INMARSAT), or HF-3 to ICS.

A

The copilot’s headset jack panel is also the EAJB assembly, it interconnects all flight deck audio streams when copilot activates the ALL LISTEN switch.
