A

Hardwood comes from deciduous trees that lose their leaves in the winter.

A

Manufactured wood is made by humans. They are usually made by using other woods and adhesive to make them strong.
Chip Board (chips of timber glued together)
MDF (compressed and heated timber chips)
Plywood (Sheets glued at different angles)

A

Thermosetting cannot be reshaped once set into shape
EG. resin, glues, finite materials
Thermoplastic can be reshaped many times and are therefore recyclable.

A

What is the process of laminating wood?

A

Thin sheets of flexible wood (or wood that has been soaked/steamed for flexibility) will be glued on all sides that have contact with another piece of wood.
Clamp into the mould and keep there to put a laminated curve into the wood.

A
