Q

What is the difference between planned obsolesces and perceived obsolescence?

A

Planned:
Restricts the life cycle of a product by giving it a short time of use. This could result in it needing replaced after a couple years or repairing frequently.
Perceived:
Customer decides to upgrade as the one they own is out of date but still works. Manufacturers often try to persuade this to get more profit.
