- Whenever we have a luminary (the sun or the moon) in a Dusthana (the 8th or 12th house in particular) there will be some issue with the parents; either the parents suffer and you internalise that suffering, or you suffer on behalf of your parents either by them abandoning you or beating you, or diminishing you somehow.
