Practice saying the steps of an SBAR for an unwell child
A
Situation (I am the CTF with patient X who I think has a pneumonia and I am in the ward setting and very worried about them)
Background (patient age and reason for admission, how long been in hospital)
Assessment (run through their A-E, they can speak a few words, widespread wheeze and O2 status, HR and pulse, AVPU and GCS and BM, any rashes)
Recommendation (they need IV antibiotics and higher oxygen, can you come straight away as I need more help)
