  • Susceptible species: Ru. [Bo.]; Sus.; Ca.; Ho.
  • Swine shed 3000x more than cattle (but for less time)
  • Long term carrying: Tonsil, lymphatic tissue & hoof
  • Vaccinated animals can still carry & shed the virus
