Requirements to operate below mimimum heights

A

1 VMC
2 essential crew/ patients only
3 PIC satisfied area clear of Obs prior to descent
4 if VMC is lost, must climb 1000ft AGL
5 operate PC2 or higher except at medical transport operating site
6 at medical transport operating site, conduct ops IAW opsman
7 mimimise ops below minimum height unless medical reason exists and safe to do so
8 essential ops only and at speeds that minimise OEI risks
9 by night, must be NVIS op

What is additional fuel?

A

Fuel required after an engine failure to:
1 fly to alternate, and
2 orbit aerodrome at 1500’ abv elev at ISA, and
3 app and land

A
