Vagus nerve stimulation (VXS) can cause desynchronisation: decrease in seizures

Consequences

A

Increased risk of cogntivie impairment
Info processing problems in idiopathic epilipsies
active apileptic proces interfere with cognitive network
Temporal lobe epilepsy can cause memory loss
Frontal lobe cause executive dysfuntion
Parietal/occipital no specifics
