What does kamikaze mean?
A
This was when suicide bombers called kamikaze flew planes packed with explosives into American ships. They believed it was an honour to die for their country.

Why were 2 atom bombs dropped on Japan?
A
The American President, Harry S.Truman had to decide how to end the war. The first time, the Japanese didn’t surrender but the second time they did. The Americans estimated 79,000 people died in Hiroshima and 20,000 in Nagasaki.
