Succession Planning

A

The process of deciding how management vacancies will be filled.

Goal: Have highly trained replacements ready to fill vacant positions in all key jobs.

Major Activities:

  1. Information about managerial candidates should be reviewed, including such factors as career progress, experience, education, and future career interests.
