State 3 characteristics of the ventricles

A

Pumping chambers of the heart.
Thicker walls than atria.
They pump blood at a higher pressure (travel distance).
They pump blood against the force of gravity.
Left ventricle: Most muscular.
Right ventricle: pumps to lungs (pulmonary circulation).
Left ventricle: Pumps to body (systemic circulation).
