A
start with teaspoon water
build up 2 then 3 teaspoons
if no problems –> swallow 500ml

carry more detailed assessment
cideo flouroscopy - video XR: identify problems
cannot eat/drink if problems exist
dietician involved
will be shown correct position & techniques to eat
artificial feeding methods may be necessary
