Q

How can technology increase Pa within disability?

A
  • Technology may make physical activity more accessible to those with disabilities. Facilities that have the ability to facilitate the needs if these individuals. Equipment that is suited to the individual’s needs will allow them to access a wider range of physical activities.
-Technology may result in increase information available to the PWLD, thus increase the percentage that partake in Pa.

Q

is there a problem with using technology to increase Pa levels ?

A

-Cost is a major problem, even for HIC these can result in lack of money directed towards equipment and increasing technology. As a result, LIC are going to be negatively affected due to ability to afford the technology.
- disabilities vary massively and thus technology needs to be different for each disability.
