A

Anything that affects the achievement of the completion date, key dates, the scope of works changing, design changing or the cost of the project changing is a CE

A

Contract date - when contract is executed

A

Contractor or PM can provide early warning of anything that could: (15.1)

Increase the total Prices
Delay completion
Delay a meeting a Key Date
Impair the performance of the works

Underlying principle is to be proactive in addressing risk to identify problems early and jointly find solutions

How is early warning register maintained

A

PM prepares first early warning register and issues to contractor

The first early warning meeting must be held within 2 weeks of the starting date

Further meetings then happen at the request of the PM or contractor or at least in the intervals specified in the CD

A party will only be compensated from the date they should have notified, not when they did notify
