  • Caffeine - Improves concentration and stimulation
  • Protein shake - Aids muscle repair and therefore improves recovery
  • Creatine - Increases energy stores in the muscles, aiding powerful contractions
  • Bicarbonate - Buffers blood lactate, increasing intensity/duration an athlete can work at before OBLA occurs
  • Carbohydrate Gels - Can be consumed prior or during to increase glucose levels.
