1. Severe retraction or perforation of TM
2. Presence of a Cholesteatoma (abnl collection of skin cells deep inside your ear)

  1. Regular removal of infected discharge
  2. Regular use of earplugs
  3. ENT referral
    *tympanic membrane repair
    *mastoidectomy
