What are the classic signs of meniere disease

A
  1. Episodic spontaneous vertigo that lat 20 minutes to several hours
  2. Low frequency SHL
  3. Sensation of unilateral aural pressure or fullness
  4. Nystagmus with acute attack
  5. Not precipitated by positional changes

What is the diagnosis criteria for Ménière’s disease

A
  1. Verified hearing loss
  2. 2 episodes of vertigo (20 minutes in length)
  3. Tinnitus
  4. Exclusion of other Dx

What is the treatment of Ménière’s disease

A
  1. Stabilizes the endolymph attic pressure / reduce the endolymph fluid
  2. Manage airborne allergens
  3. Referral to ENT
