System Fail Reset switch (FAIL P – RESET)

• Push – extinguishes the FAIL P-RESET light and allows
  monitoring of the remaining systems (The pilot will be directed to accomplish this via the QRH).

• If a single autopilot is engaged, electric (control wheel) trimming causes the autopilot to disengage
• If multiple autopilots are engaged, the electric (control wheel) trim switches are inhibited.

alternate pitch trim switches on the pedestal while an autopilot is engaged.

• Alternate trimming DOES NOT cause autopilot disengagement.
