Q

what is a nuclear pores

A

A nuclear pore is a minute opening or passage way through the nuclear envelope. It connects the nucleoplasm (nucleus) with the cytoplasm. The opening is ‘plugged’ with an amazing biological valve that only permits selected chemicals to move into and out of the nucleus.
