What is the intro of Atkinson’s and Shriffin’s Multi-store model?
-describes how information flows in the memory
-it is a structural model
-stating that the SR,STM and LTS are independant unitary stores

The stimuli of the environment flows into the sensory register.This has several stores which are modality specific.The two main stores are the echoic store (auditory information) and the Iconic store (visual information)
