  1. Explain that their gums need time to recover overnight so the denture needs to be taken out.
    - liken it to sleeping in your shoes.
  2. Dentures should be cleaned thoroughly with a soft bristled brush and socked for 15 mins twice a day in chlorhexidine solution.
