  • Vernaccia grape in Marches is a red grape.
    • “Vernaccia” from Latin “vernaculus”, or “indigenous”, and is used for a number of distinct varieties in Italy.
  • Vernaccia di Serrapetrona DOCG wines are sparkling reds, either dry or sweet from passito grapes (40%).

* Matellica = 9.5 tons/ha
