Q

What are the 5 things you need to look out for when evaluation the design of a study? Why?(for each reason)

A
  1. sample size - the greater the no. of people, the more reliable the results
  2. variables - more variables have been controlled, the more reliable & valid the results
  3. data collection - the less bias in collecting data, the more reliable the results
  4. controls - the presence of controls increases validity
  5. repetition - if other scientists produce the same results, results = more reliable
