Q

what are the 2 electrolysis rules

A

cathide- if metal more reactive than hydrogen than hydrogen is produced either metal
anode- if OH- and halide ions present, then molecules of chlorine, bromine or iodine will be formed if there are no hallide ions than oxygen is formed
