What is random sampling?
A
Where every individual in a survey has an equal chance at being picked. E.g names in a hat. It’s completely random

What is stratified random sampling?
A
Where the sampling frame is subdivided into several smaller sampling frames based on things like gender, age etc.

What is systematic sampling?
A
Where every other person is picked within the sample.

What is snowball sampling?
A
Where one person introduces to another etc. this is done when sampling frame is hard to obtain.
