The Breakdonw of the Grand Aliance after WWII is what led to the atsrt of the Cold War and waht allowed for tensions in the Belin Blockade and the Korean War. The Cold War is belived to began after WWII. The Korean War and The Berlin Blocade are evebts thst take place and make up the Cold War
When did the breakdown of the Grand Alliance begin? When did it end?
The Break down of the Grand Allaince began after the Yalta conference in April 1945. During the Yalta conference there were many agreemner between the big three but they could not agree on the placement of Poland. Ideological difference which had been present prior hightented and created conflict. Stalins view of Europe was diffrent from Churhill and DFDRs. When Trumen came to power hostility towards communism and stalin grew through events like the Long Telegram and Polices like Cointainemnt.
The end of the Grand Alliance can be seen in 1949 when the Berlin Airlift took place. The USSR was attempting to keep captitalim in Belin by blocking areas off and the US arlighted supplies into these blocked off areas. After this event the tensions and histillities between the two countries got worse much faster.

When answering this question you must consider the event that make up the Cold War as it is a war between two countries that never foiught each other.
It is believed by many historians that the Cold war began after WWII in 1945. TYhere are two possible end dates for the Cold War. The first is 1989 after the Fall of the Berlin Wall. The second is 1991 after the breskup of the Soviet Union.

False. The Munich COnfrence led to the Yealta Confrence because there was a goal for peace at the end of WWII. Stalin Churhill and Rooselvelt appeased Hitler during the Munich Confrence. There is a desire not to appease Stlin during Yalta Confrence.

False. The Korean war took place after the Grand Alliance broke down. The Korean war is an effect of the break down of the Grand alliance. The tensions between the USSR and the USA are present during the Korean war as they are allied on opposite sides.
The US sent the 7th fleet to Korea.
False. The 7th fleet is sent to Taiwan as the US want to prevent the spread of communism from China into Taiwan. Chiang Kai-shek retreated to Taiwan after communist party gained control in China and the US are trying to ally with Chian Kai-sheks government.

True. France was weaked after WWII ans being invded by Germany. Theywere not strong enough to be aprt of the Grand Allaince. France was involved in Vietnam and trying to reinstate its colonia rule over Vietnam after WWII.
Soviet support of China allowed the US to enter the Korean War with UN support.
True. The Soviets were boycotting the UN after China was not seated and instead the Taiwanese government was seated. When the US asked the UN for aid in the Korean War the Soviets were not present. Therefore the US gained the aid of the UN.

False. Tensioosn in the Grand Allaince did not rise until after WWII. Prior to WWII the USSR and USA had a string alliance even though they have different ideologies.

False. The Iron Curtian is a term created by Churhcill to describe the ideological differences between capitalism and communism as the USSR was forming and Iron Curtian buit upon communism.
