Q

The hagerstrand model

A
  1. primary stage - outbreak slows as it spreads from a fixed point - lasts for month when eventually reached enough people to spread quickly
  2. condensation stage - rapid growth occurs due to contagious - due to travel, poor educations and poor sanitation
  3. expansion stage - disease spread slows as pop become immune 0 due to education, quarantine and vaccination
  4. saturation stage - disease stops spreading - entire pop immune or dead - no new cases as saturated
