Give two problems with coalition governments during the Weimar Republic?

  • Many of the coalitions were unstable , if the governing parties disagreed regarding certain issues then the coalition would fall.
  • As political extremism grew and more parties became anti-democratic and anti-Republic, centre parties found it more difficult to increasingly difficult to reach an agreement with various parties to create a government.
