what are the denticulate ligaments?
lateral projections from the pia mater that hold the spinal cord in place in the subarachnoid space. they also extend to the dura weaving between dorsal and ventral roots
where is CSF made? Where is it stored?
CSF is made in the choroid plexuses of the ventricles in the brain
stored in the subarachnoid space
what is a dermatome?
area of skin that is innervated by sensory fibers from a specific spinal nerve or nerve segment
what is a myotome?
groups of muscles that are innervated by motor fibers derived from a single spinal nerve segment
what is a sclerotome?
areas of bone that are innervated by a single spinal segment
