What are Stem Cells?
A
They are unspecialised/undifferentiated cells found in embryos and the bone narrow.
They can become almost any cell type in the body (differentiate).
They are capable of:
Dividing to produce more stem cells (mitosis).
Differentiating (becoming specialsed) yo create new cells for growth and repair.

What are the uses of Stem Cells?
A
In research-drug testing.
In medicine-to grow and replace damaged cells. Skin graft for burn victims.
