Q

Circle Turns

A

Have a Good Visual Reference
Enter on the Tailwind
Maintain Radius
Steep with wind (Tailwind)
Medium at the Arc (Crosswind)
Shallow around the Bend (Headwind)
You have 2 revolutions
(Gentle corrections)

16
Q

S-Turns

A

Find Straight Line
Curve Turn in an S shape
Must maintain same Radius on all turns
Higher Airspeed = Steeper Bank (30)
Medium Airspeed = Medium Bank (15 to 20)
Slower Airspeed = Shallow Bank (15 and less)
(Gentle Corrections)

17
Q

Wind Shear

A

Unpredictable Wind
(Very Dangerous)
If any unprompted change in aircraft position, immediately apply power to full and climb out at Vy (74 knots)
