Causes of long QT syndrome

A
  • Long QT syndrome (an inherited condition)
  • Drugs: such as antipsychotics, citalopram, flecainide, sotalol, amiodarone and macrolide antibiotics
  • Electrolyte imbalances, hypokalaemia, hypomagnesaemia and hypocalcaemia
