It’s a greek word which means “good death” which refers to the idea of a merciful easy and gentle death, to end someone’s pain and suffering

A

Ending a life before natural death is wrong .

Why do they believe in the Sancitity of life?

A

All human life is sacred and holy because in the Genesis god makes all mankind in his image meaning human life is species as it’s a gift from God.

How would this change a catholics life

A

They will try to support the work of hospices some of which are charities by donating their time, resources and money.
They would campaign for euthanasia to remain illegal in the U and instead want more funding to go into palliative care as it is focused on the person who is unwell and their needs.
