What’s CROSS CHECKING?

A

Where the AI is the central instrument where we get most information, and when power and trim is stable, we check other instruments from the AI to the:
- altimeter
- ASI
- DG
- VSI

always coming back to the AI before moving to the next instrument

A

HALTE

  • Min altitude: 2500 ft AGL
  • Establish visual references with sweeping turns to ensure there is no traffic in the vicinity (30º bank)
