A response to gravity.

No auxin will be available and the shoot may stop growing.

Towards the light and away from gravity.

Towards gravity.
What are auxins used for?
Killing weeds
Growing from cuttings with rooting powder
Growing cells in tissue culture
What does gibberellin do?
Stimulates plant cells to grow.
What is giberellin used for?
Controlling dormancy
Inducing flowering
Growing larger fruit
What does ethene do?
Stimulates the ripening of fruit.
