Describe the course of pelvic ureter

A
  1. enters the pelvis at CIA bifurication level
  2. Runs downwards & slightly backwards along lower border of IIA
  3. At level of ischial spine, it curves forewards & medially (in females it runs below root of broad ligament of uterus)
  4. it enters urinary bladder in from posterosuperior angle, for 2 cm, it has an intramural part
