Q

Course of internal pudendal Artery

A
  1. It leaves the pelvis through greater sciatic foreman below piriformis muscle
  2. it crosses ischial spine, then pass through lesser sciatic foreman to reach ischiorectal fossa
  3. it then enters pudendal Canal and runs until it reaches and enters deep perineal pouch

Q

End of internal pudendal artery

A

Posterior to symphysis pubis, it divides into two terminals, dorsal artery of penis and deep artery of penis ๐Ÿšน / dorsal artery of clitoris and deep artery of clitoris ๐Ÿšบ

Q

Course and branches of perineal A

A
  1. enters Ischiorectal fossa by piercing, medial wall of pudendal canal.
  2. It is then pierces perineal membrane to enter superficial perineal pouch
  3. it divides into transverse perineal artery, which supplies the superficial and transverse perineal muscles And posterior scrotal artery ๐Ÿšน/ labial artery ๐Ÿšบ, which supplies scrotum or labia majora

Q

course of artery of bulb

A
  1. It arises in deep perineal pouch
  2. itโ€™s pierces perineal membrane
  3. it enters bulb of penis and runs through corpus spongiosum on side of ureter ๐Ÿšน or supplies bulb of vestibule in female ๐Ÿšบ

Q

Course of pudendal nerve

A
  1. Leaves the pelvis through greater sciatic foreman
  2. crosses sacrospinous ligament and enters through lesser sciatic foramen
  3. it enters pudendal canal, accompanying internal pudendal vessels
  4. In the pudendal canal, it gives inferior rectal nerve
