A
As a cardio-selective beta-blocker, it binds to and blocks B-1 sympathetic receptors which block catecholamines. Causes negative chronotropic, inotropic, and dromotropic effects.

- Atrial fibrillation and atrial flutter with rapid ventricular response in patients taking b-blockers.
- SVT refractory to vagal maneuvers and adenosine
