A
Early disseminated- men, carditis, uveitis
Late - arthritis, neurological, skin (purplish oedema)

How to dx lyme disease
A
Serology tests - ELISA for blood screen. Can also do CSF/serum if neuroborreliosis

When is borellia PCR done
A
When there is acute neuroborreliosis or lyme arthritis

How long after lyme disease exposure can serology be done
A
only after 4 weeks

Mx of Lyme disease
A
Doxy for EM, or amox or azithro 2/3 line
Only cerftriaxoee if CNS is affected, doxy 2nd line
