Q

Define Mass Participation

A

This is an inclusive concept where taking part is more important than winning. Physical activity is pursued for health, fitness or enjoyment. The benefit of mass participation is that it enlarges the pool from which talent can be drawn. The idea is that everyone should have the chance to take part in sport.
