Forming (figuring out wih behaviour is acceptable)
Storming (conflict and hierarchy is established)
Norming (group establishes normal behaviour)
Performing (engages with task)
Adjourning (marks it’s end with social ritual)
Mourning (regret it’s ending)
Describe the Group Think Asch experiment
Group of people given different length lines. Research subject gives the same wrong answer as everyone else partly by peer pressure or cognitively mis perceives the lines. Shows why diversity in groups is good
What is the significance of the Ringelmann experiment?
Individuals feel less exposed in a group so are less pressured to exert effort
Sometimes conscious sometimes unconscious

Define emotional labour
Hochschild - requires you to induce or suppress feeling in order to sustain outward countenance
