Possessive pronouns stand for the owner as well as the object owned.
They agree with the object owned in number and gender.
Possessive pronouns include the significance of the noun (It is mine). Singular mio(s) : mia(s) mine; tuyo(s) : tuya(s) yours; suyo(s) suya(s) his, hers, its, yours (formal,)
Plural nuestro(s) : nuestra(s) ours; vosotro(s) : vosotra(s) yours; suyo(s), suya(s) theirs, yours (formal)
Possessive adjectives comes before the noun. Singular: mi(s) my, tu(s) your, su(s) his, her, your, its
mi gato, mis gatos; tu gato tus gatos; su gato, sus gatos.
Plural: nuestro(s)nuestra(s) our; Vuestro(s), vuestra(s) your; su(s) their, your.
Nuestro gato, nuestros gatos; vuestro gato, vuestros gatos; su gato, sus gatos.
Possessive Pronouns frequently follow the third person of “ser”
“es” and “son”
