Our biological time clock which influences when we feel energetic or sleepy. Most drivers will usually feel especially sleepy between midnight - 6am and 1pm - 4pm.

A medical condition where the person can’t sleep.
D1.7 Driver fatigue is described as a sleeping what?
A sleeping killer.
D1.8 How can you relieve fatigue?
Find a safe place to pull your vehicle over, drink a cup of coffee or caffeinate drink and take a 15-30min nap.
Any longer may leave you groggy.
D1.9 What is the average sleep requirement per day.
Adults usually need between 6-8 hours of uninterrupted sleep every 24 hours.
D1.10 What are night workers prone to?
Night-shift workers have the greatest risk of sleep disruption.
