Why must you check all inominate landmarks to form a Dx?
If the inominate has a superior shear and anterior rotation, the ASIS line up, so you have to check the PSIS’s to see what the pelvis is doing
What are the ASIS and PSIS doing in an anterior rotation?
ASIS inferior, PSIS superior
Which muscles can be tight when there’s an anterior innominate rotation?
Ipsilateral hamstrings
Where is the freedom of motion in an anterior innominate rotation?
Anterior
WHich muscles are the anterior ilium rotators?
TFL, quadratus lumborum,intercostal, internal abdominal oblique, lattisismus dorsi
What is the orgin/insertion of tensor fascia latae?
O-anterior iliac crest, I- anterolateral tibia
O/I of quads?
O-ASIS, I-tibial tuberosity via patellar ligament
Where are the ASIS and PSIS in the posterior innominate rotation?
ASIS-superior, PSIS-inferior
Where is pain located in a psoterior innominate rotation?
ingunal/groin pain, medialknee pain, inguinal tenderness
What muscles cause a posterior innominate rotation
tight hamstrings
What are the posterior rotators?
Gluteus max, all 3 hamstrings, piriformis (weak), external abdominal oblique
O/I of hamstrings?
O-ischial tuberosity,, I- lateral condyle tibia and lateral aspect head of fibula
