What are some adverse effects of Isotretinoin?
A
- Teratogenicity
- Dry skin, eyes and lips (The most common side effect)
- Low mood
- Raised triglycerides
- Hair thinning
- Nose bleeds (caused by dryness of the nasal mucosa)
- Benign intracranial hypertension: Hence why they are not combined with tetracyclines.
- Photosensitivity
